Shadow Warrior 2 released on the PC back in October and to raving reviews. The return of Lo Wang and the added benefit of four player co-op made many a Steam user happy. PlayStation 4 gamers would have to wait until this year to play it according to pre-release info but no specific date was given. Luckily, the official Twitter account for the title revealed that the plan for console release is sometime in April or May. The submission and approval structure along with the release process being key reasons for the two month estimate.

Shadow Warrior 2 is developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital. The pair also worked together on the first entry, a reboot of the 1997 game, back in 2013. Both games feature ninja Lo Wang cutting his way through hordes of demons while making puns, jokes, and gags through the whole ordeal. Are you excited to finally play the sequel on consoles? Or have you already played it on PC? Let us know in the comments on what you’re looking forward to or what you enjoyed the most on this latest outing.
