SEGA has announced some disappointing news: The planned patches for Shenmue 1 and Shenmue 2 on PS4 have been delayed a little bit.
Instead of coming sooner, the update, which will hopefully rid the games of some annoying bugs, will now release on the week starting September 17th. That’s not to say the patch will release on the 17th, but it will be in that week. Shame, but I imagine most PS4 owners will be busy swinging around in Insomniac’s Spider-Man on PS4 anyway.
Shenmue fans! Unfortunately the patch we planned on releasing this week isn’t ready yet and will instead be released on week commencing September 17th. We apologize for the delay but want to ensure you get the best game experience possible. We’ll have more updates soon!

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
