Sony has announced the PlayStation 4 Slim edition today at the PlayStation Meeting. The new model is sleeker and slimmer than the regular model, and according to Sony CEO Andrew House, the Slim edition will replace the current model as the standard PS4.
The new PS4 will be available on September 15th for $299. House also stated that the console will be available in “most markets” on that date, so it’s likely we’ll see a little staggering with the new console’s release.
