It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to kill swarms of zombies and ride a bitchin’ motorbike whilst doing so as Sony has announced that Days Gone has been delayed.
The announcement comes from the official PlayStation Blog.
“We recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February timeframe to April 26, 2019. While the studio is eager to see Days Gone in the hands of fans, Bend Studio will take the opportunity to further polish Days Gone.”
It’s a little unusual to have a publisher come out and say ‘we’re moving the release date because there’s too much competition’. They normally just give some fluff reason and leave it at that. Interesting, no?
