There’s been a bit of an uproar surrounding the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game coming to PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, namely the fact that Spider-Man will be exclusive to the PlayStation versions of the game.
It’s a disappointment for players on other platforms for sure, and gamers across the internet have shown their annoyance on social media.
Sony doesn’t give a shit.
The platform holder is firmly leaning into the controversy, and that’s evident by the new trailer that released today on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. The new trailer is even named the ‘PlayStation Advantage’ trailer, and it details all the goodies that PlayStation players will enjoy over their Xbox and PC counterparts.
It’s silly, and in today’s world, it’s not very important, but I’ve got to give it to the marketing bigwigs at Sony HQ; this is a great bit of shithousery, and I imagine that if any of those marketing people involved played FIFA, they’d be the kings and queens of sweaty goals and ‘shush’ celebrations.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
