Now that we have crossed into May, there is a little more than a month between us and new game announcements with drool-worthy trailers. Sony has sent out invitations for its own E3 event that will be held on June 12th at 6:00 p.m. PST (2:00 a.m. BST) at The Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in sunny Los Angeles.
As usual, they will be one of the later, if not the last, press conferences with Microsoft and Bethesda holding their events on the previous day. This puts a lot of pressure on the current console leader to drop some exclusives on fans and provide more information on its upcoming releases.
We expect to see some more God of War (and Son) footage, more naked Norman Reedus, and a new CGI trailer for Final Fantasy VII with a 2050 release date, putting it one year after Kingdom Hearts III. Part of the show will probably also be dedicated to showcasing Destiny 2: Electric Boogaloo and Call of Duty’s return to WWII with any exclusive, or timed exclusive, content those two games will bring to Big Blue’s box.
We will bring you all the stories, trailers, and inevitable drama from E3. Let us know in the comments what you are hoping to see at this year’s event.
