South Park: The Fractured But Whole is getting a new campaign courtesy of its next downloadable content, which will also introduce a new superhero class to proceedings. Bring the Crunch will be the second post-launch DLC that the game has received.
In the additional chapter, your favourite bad mouthed characters are tasked with saving summer camp after all the counselors go missing (has anyone checked Jason’s alibi?) But they won’t have to go it alone as they’re joined by new member Mintberry Crunch, who is out of this world to say the least. As Ubisoft themselves put it:
In Bring the Crunch, your newest buddy, Mint-Berry Crunch, aka Bradley Biggle, aka Gok-zarah, has just arrived from his home planet of Kokujon with the tremendous power of mint and berries. Meanwhile, an idyllic summer at Lake Tardicaca turns into a nightmare when the camp counselors go missing.
Meanwhile, the new superhero class is titled “Final Girl” and will introduce a number of new tactics and traps in order to defeat, so called, spooky bad guys. And once Lake Tardicaca is saved, the brand spanking new mechanics will be applicable to your wider superhero journey. So Final Girl isn’t that Final, after all.
Bring the Crunch is set to launch on July 31st at a recommended retail price of $11.99.
