South Park: The Fractured But Whole Was Originally Subtitled “The Butthole of Time”

In a behind the scenes video about the latest South Park game, Trey Park and Matt Stone go into detail about various things from their upcoming title. Most of it was information we already knew except for one gem. Trey Park originally came up with the name The Butthole of Time instead of The Fractured But Whole. Ubisoft ran the subtitle through their censors and got rejected. Retailers wouldn’t carry a game with the word butthole in its heading. We wonder why? The duo then shared a laugh over the occurrence.

As funny as the original name sounds the current one is a lot more clever. It suits the series better. Be sure to check out the full video below and the seven minute mark is when this tidbit was revealed. South Park: The Fractured But Whole comes out December 6th and can be pre-ordered here.
