Insomniac Games has pushed out another update for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, bringing the game up to version 1.06 on PS4, and 1.006 on PS5. But what does this new update do? Mostly, this update is giving the game more stability and improved performance, but there’s also a fix for a bug that has been doing players’ heads in for a while: the “Day” selection bug. It didn’t always work, but now it should with the 1.06 update.
The 1.06 update is fairly big in size considering the meagre patch notes, which you can read down below. Maybe there’s something else that hasn’t been disclosed in the patch notes? We’ll see.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS4, PS5 Update 1.06/1.006 Patch Notes
General Fixes & Polish
- Fixed issue with selecting “Day” in weather selection
- Improved stability
- Performance improvements
- Various additional fixes
We’ll see how improved the stability really is. I’ve been playing through this semi-sequel myself over the last couple of weeks and it’s been a nightmare with various crashes. Fingers crossed this latest update means I can finish Miles’ story in peace.
