El Psy Kongroo, friend. The world of Steins;Gate is becoming a little wider today with the release of STEINS;GATE: My Darling’s Embrace. Taking place in an alternate timeline, it puts the beloved characters in a “romantic, slap-stick comedy”. It’s much more lighthearted and sets its focus on the science of love. Most of us would probably have better luck managing time travel.
The gameplay puts you with the lab members as they go about their lives. You’ll get to see into Rintaro’s private life by controlling the most personal item anyone owns – his phone. You’ll be able to answer or not answer calls and communicate through emails. These “What if?” stories will be controlled by your choices, so get out there and live your alternate life.
STEINS;GATE: My Darling’s Embrace is available digitally right now. If you are a PS Plus member, you can receive 10% off the price through Dec 17. If you just want more of the regular flavor from this interesting world, STEINS;GATE 0 and STEINS;GATE Elite are discounted as part of Sony’s End of Year Sale in NA.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
