A few months back, EA announced that Star Wars Battlefront players on PS4 would be getting a free bit of content in the form of Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for PlayStation VR. EA has since announced the release date of the upcoming freebie, along with the Scarif DLC.
Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission will be free to all PS4 players on December 6th, though you’ll obviously need to have the PSVR headset to get stuck into what promises to be a neat little experience. The Scarif DLC, based on the upcoming Rogue One movie, will also release on December 6th as the final DLC drop for Star Wars Battlefront.
So what does the Scarif DLC bring? For one, there’s four new maps to battle it out in and a new multi-stage game mode that’ll have players fighting on foot and in space. Sounds lovely, doesn’t it? There will also be two new playable heroes: Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic, both from the new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story movie.
