EA has shadow dropped a next-gen version of its excellent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
E3 week is always full of fun surprises but how about this: EA has released a next-gen upgrade for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and all without the usual fanfare. Perhaps it went live a little earlier than planned?
If you already own the game on PS4 or Xbox One, you can download the PS5/Xbox Series X|S version at no extra cost – it’s completely free.
If you don’t already own Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on PS4, you can buy the PS5 edition on the PlayStation Store or via your preferred retailer as the game is getting a physical release, too. You can also upgrade your disc version of the game, even if you have a digital-only console.
There’s no word yet on what the upgrades are for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, but it’s likely that EA will send out a presser soon with more details. I’d love to be able to tell you myself but I’m still downloading the next-gen update and it’s taking ages, almost as if it’s being delivered from a galaxy far, far away…
