Earlier this month EA stated that its upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order would be getting its first public showing in the near future. Now we have confirmation as to when that will be as EA has announced that it will be showing the game this April.
The announcement comes via the official EA Twitter account where the publisher revealed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be shown at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Chicago on April 13th, 2019.
There’s no word on what exactly will be shown but I think it’s safe to assume we’ll see a trailer of sorts and maybe even some gameplay. If we’re really lucky and the midichlorians align just right, we might even get a release date for the game. It is due to release sometime later this year after all.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is being developed by Apex Legends and Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment. The game, which is due to release ‘Holiday 2019’ is set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode 3, and follows a young Padawan Jedi who survived the events of Revenge of the Sith. Other than that, not much is known about the game. It hasn’t really had any leaks, which is unusual in this industry.
According to EA’s top bosses, who have had the chance to play some of the game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is “exceptional”. Executives are known for talking out their arses, though, so we’ll wait and see before getting too excited.
