The last State of Play for 2019 will air on December 10 at 6:00 am PT/9:00 am ET. How will PlayStation end the year? The PlayStation Blog says that new games will be announced, games you already know will have release dates revealed, there will be new trailers, and you’ll receive more updates on games. It sounds like a fantastic way to keep your customers happy. They also mention what won’t be there. They will not be talking about next-gen, but who is surprised?
If you want to watch it, you’re spoiled for choice. You can catch the 20 minute State of Play presentation live on Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. The only real change here is that it’s a morning show instead of an afternoon. Tuesday is usually the day they update the store. Does that mean there will be a new game dropped that day? Will there be some other big announcement that forces us to open our wallets?
Speculation is part of the game, and we’ll know the answer in just a few days.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
