Fun Punch Games and publisher Playdius have announced today the Strikers Edge will be releasing on PS4 this January 30th in North America, while the UK and Europe will get the game a day later.
To celebrate the announcement, Playdius Games has released a brand new announcement trailer that gives us a look at the game in action, as well as a peek at the Twitch integration for the game’s Streamer mode, though that’s only available in the Steam version of the game on PC. Who knows, maybe it’ll end up getting patched into the PS4 version at a later date.
Strikers Edge is being pushed heavily as a multiplayer game where you can play 1v1 or 2v2 matches online or locally, though it does also boast a single player campaign with “eight campaigns.” We imagine the eight campaigns will be matches against the A.I players that gradually increase in difficulty. Something for everyone, then.
