SIGTrap Games announced today that Sublevel Zero Redux is coming to PS4 later this year. In it you take control of a gunship and descend into a procedurally generated, underground facility. You’re then tasked with fighting enemies in zero gravity while looting and crafting upgrades in hopes of escaping. All of this can be done in six degrees of freedom which means you can move forward/backward, up/down, left/right, and pitch, yaw, and roll. Imagine a vast dungeon crawler but with a spacecraft and you have Sublevel Zero.
What would a remaster be without new features. Originally releasing on PC last year, the redux will have an improved campaign technical wise, new unlocks, different enemies, a bestiary, and additions to the procedural generated world. No specific release date was given but the current window we can expect is Q4 of 2016.
