There’s a new chapter in the Suicide Guy series, and it’s out now on PS4. Yes, it’s a series now. That’s a sign of something being a success, right? If not critically, then at least commercially. That’s why there’s a second game.
Alright, enough of my snark… The game is out now on PS4 and it’s a pretty cheap digital release. In the UK you’ll only pay £4.99, and in the US you’ll pay, er, nothing; it’s not available on the North American PlayStation Store. You lucky sods.
According to the developer behind the game, Chubby Pixel, the game is a follow-up to the original release. You won’t need the original game to play this one as it’s a standalone sequel. A bona-fide sequel. The developer would also like to point out that despite the game’s grim title “the game is NOT at all about suicide or depression.” However, it may make you depressed enough to become suicidal. Seriously. We had to talk Jason out of walking into a Nintendo convention with his PlayStation cuff links on after he finished his review for the first game. He was that close to ending it all and he wanted to go out in style.
