When someone starts saying they have a game consisting of sci-fi horror in space, we become all tingly. These are some of our favorite things, and we still hold a place in our cold hearts for Dead Space. It’ll come back someday, if we all believe. We just know it.
Our unrealistic fantasies aside, Syndrome is an actual game with an actual release date of October 6th. After waking up from cryosleep on the SPS Valkenburg, you will have to find your missing crewmates. You may also wish other crewmates were missing, instead of being found. Focusing primarily on stealth, you will find weapons, but there will not be enough ammo for you to plow through everything that moves as you try to unravel the mystery of what happened.
We do not have an official launch trailer for the PS4 yet, but we did dig up the PC launch trailer to give you an idea of what to expect and the overall tense atmosphere that Syndrome will provide.
We sometimes link to online retail stores. If you buy something from our links, we may make a small commission which goes towards keeping the lights on and coffee in the pot.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
