After an unfortunate delay, the groovy PSVR game will now release in August.
Synth Riders was supposed to release on Tuesday of this week, but due to unforeseen distribution issues (in other words, Sony buggered it up,) Kluge Interactive had to delay the game, stating that it could be a few weeks until Synth Riders hit PSVR.
Thankfully, the delay has not been a long as the developer has announced the new Synth Riders PSVR release date today: August 10th, 2021.
The game will release on PSVR and will be playable on PS5 and PS4. Synth Riders will cost $24.99/24.99€ on release, though there’s a cheeky 20% launch discount for PlayStation Plus members. Nice.
Synth Riders is part Guitar Hero, part BoxVR. You move around and hit shapes as they come flying towards you. It’s basically a dancing game without saying so. It’s good, too, and PSVR players are in for a treat when it launches next month.
