Take A One-Way Trip in Journey to the Savage Planet Today
If you’re looking for a new sale on the PSN today, keep walking, but there are some new releases to tempt you. Journey to the Savage Planet takes a page from the golden age of sci-fi by putting you into the space boots of an employee of Kindred Aerospace. You are dropped on planet AR-Y 26 for a tough job. As a dutiful employee, your task is to scout the planet to see if it’s suitable for human habitation. The company believes in your abilities so strongly that they decided to send you there with no fuel to return. The trailer is funny, and the game appears to share that sense of humor.
Even though you’re stuck on your new home, you’re still on the clock. You will need to scan the strange animals and plants you find, and you might learn a word or two of the language. There are multiple biomes shown for you to explore and different items to collect. Since not all of the new life is friendly, diplomacy goes out of the window with a bullet or two speeding after it.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, Journey to the Savage Planet can be grabbed for $29.99/€29.99/£24.99 right now. Reviews are out, and this one seems to be garnering some early praise. Check out the trailer, and check back with us soon for our thoughts on the game.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
