Enhanced Editions truly are the new “remakes” of this new console generation, with plenty of games getting “Enhanced” editions in an effort to appeal to next-gen owners looking for some new games to put their consoles to the test.
Last year’s Terminator Resistance is the latest to get the enhanced treatment, according to the Australian ratings board, which has recently rated Terminator Resistance Enhanced. There hasn’t been any official announcement yet (to my PR peeps – if this was an announcement planned for the morning, sorry!) but it’s likely we’ll get the usual run of trailers, comparisons, and next-gen screenshots when it is announced.
Terminator Resistance was actually a really good game on PS4, even though it was a little rough around the edges and could have done with a bit more time in the proverbial oven. It was a game for fans of the franchise, really, and it showed in the amount of care and love put into it. I enjoyed it for what it was, and if this enhanced edition brings just a single improvement, I’ll be there again to blast away the metal menace.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
