Terminator: Resistance is an upcoming first-person shooter from Reef Entertainment, the same outfit that brought us that last-gen Rambo game that wasn’t very good at all.
The studio is back with another licensed game, this time it’s Terminator: Resistance and… it’s hard to say whether it’s going to be a dud or not. Early impressions haven’t been great, but the studio has now released two new trailers to show the game in a better light. The first, embedded up above, is the game’s combat trailer. The second is a ten-minute gameplay segment that shows a bit of action, some of the game’s mechanics, and a couple of cinematic cutscenes. I’ll reserve judgment until I have the game in my hands…
Terminator: Resistance will release on PS4 and Xbox One on December 10th, 2019, whereas PC players will be able to play on Steam from November 15th.
Terminator: Resistance introduces a new hero, Jacob Rivers, a soldier in the Resistance Pacific Division. Despite the fact that Jacob is just a private, he’ll soon discover that he’s been targeted by the latest threat from SKYNET and marked for termination! SKYNET may be destined to lose this war, but at what cost to Jacob? Experience the events leading up to the decisive final battle, smash SKYNET’s Defence Grid and help decide the fate of mankind in the war against the machines!
