The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets Christmas Update Brings Free Festive Event to PSVR

Fast Travel Games’ wonderful family-friendly The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets has a brand new update today, bringing some festive DLC to the VR puzzle game – for free!

To help get all those bah-humbug players in the Christmas spirit, Fast Travel Games has deployed a new update that tasks players with helping Grandpa Santa Clause hunt down his lost presents. There’s one missing gift hidden in each of the game’s levels, and if you find them all and return them to his sack you’ll get an in-game reward.

It’s a time-limited event, mind you, and it’ll only run from today until January 13th, 2020. That’s more than enough time to scour the game’s level for Santa’s missing pressies, and the in-game reward will stay with you after the event has finished.

The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is a great little PSVR puzzle game that is well worth a look if you fancy a change from all of the violence that usually dominates PSVR releases. I really liked it, saying in my review that “The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets is a lovely little game that’s an easy way to kill an afternoon. The presentation is on-point and it’s easy to just get lost staring into the beautiful little worlds.”

Over on our sister site, Pure PSVR, Jeremy was pleased with the game, too, saying “the follow up to Apex Construct from Fast Travel Games is a sharp left turn into a charming puzzle game with a somewhat serious story to tell.”
