In the trailer, we see the game has a larger roster with 66 playable characters. This adds to the original character roster of The King of Fighters 2002 with many exclusive characters originating from The Nests Chronicles, along with many more hidden ones. That is not all, as plenty of old and new moves alike have been added, alongside characters abilities and mechanics being upgraded and redesigned in the hopes of making the game far more balanced overall.
