Sony has announced today via a short post on the official PlayStation Blog that The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima have got new summer PS4 release dates after having been delayed due to The Rona.
Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us 2 will now release on June 19th, while Santa Monica Studio’s Ghost of Tsushima will release a month later on July 17th. Another PS4 exclusive, Marvel’s Iron Man VR, was also delayed at the same time as The Last of Us 2, but there doesn’t seem to be any update on the PSVR game’s release date.
The world is slowly starting up again, and with it comes a sense of normality. Hopefully, these games release without any extra issues, and I personally hope you’re all well enough to play them once they do release; they’re sure to be the highlights of the PS4’s 2020, and we’ve all been waiting for so very long.
The Last of Us 2 has reportedly been leaked online with major plot points and story beats being spoiled. Good luck avoiding The Last of Us 2 spoilers for the next seven weeks!
