The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Trailer Gave A Glimpse At Middle-Earth

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

Daedalic Entertainment revealed during Nacon Connect 2021 what players can be expecting from the new Lord of the Rings game releasing next year.

Yesterday, during Nacon Connect German developer and publisher, Daedalic Entertainment unveiled a new developer interviewer for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. As well as sneak peeks at the designs for some of the well-known faces of Tolkien’s tale.

In this new video, Producer Harald Riegler introduces both the characters and environments Gollum encounters on his journeys. We’ve seen the disgusting Mouth of Sauron in Mordor, who has never been seen before, and the Elvenking Thranduil from Mirkwood. We even got to see the wizard Gandalf himself!

According to Harald, these designs are as true to the books source material as possible and therefore fans of the franchise will be able to recognise both places and faces when they explore Middle-Earth as the unlikely hero Gollum.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is set to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC next year though a day hasn’t been announced.
