The Persistence Enhanced Announced for PS5

Another last-gen release is getting a next-gen makeover, though this one has the distinction of being a PSVR original before being ported to PS4, then to PS5.

Perp Games and Firesprite have jumped on the next-gen upgrade bandwagon with the announcement that The Persistence will be getting an upgrade for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The Persistence started out life as a PSVR game before being converted for regular play on PS4. Now, the game is getting upgrade again (PSVR to PS4 featured graphical upgrades) for the next-gen machines.

So, what will be enhanced on this new outing for The Persistence? According to the presser, the game will feature improved lighting, ray tracing, user interface enhancements, and immersive feedback with the DualSense controller.

The Persistence Enhanced will release “late Spring” for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the publisher is aiming to bring a physical version to retail on the same day as the digital release.
