Trophy lists have become common pre-launch appetisers in recent years, setting the mood for whatever game is to come. And Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is no exception. But, if its list is anything to go by, that Platinum achievement will come with one heck of a bragging right. That’s because it will really see you cleaning up on every level and even hitting the 106% completion mark.
So, you do the math – that really is above and beyond!
The N.Sane Trilogy was hardly an easy Platinum, though. So, we could hardly expect them to buck the trend this time. However, with gems, relics and characters all up for grabs, this should keep you busy for some time yet. Hey, it might even help you forget about that delayed PlayStation 5 pre-order.
What?! Too soon?
For those of us who may be less abled in the gaming skills tree, a few of the trophies do sound easily attainable. As an example, I think even I will be able to unlock the ‘Crouch or slide into a double jump‘, ‘Complete a level as Coco‘ and ‘Play a game of Crate Combo‘ ones. So, that’s a bonus in itself. The ‘Find all…‘ or ‘Complete all…‘ might be a little trickier, though.
For me, obviously, not you.
I did like how the N.Sane Trilogy gave you a reason to return to previous platforming levels – something that usually isn’t needed once you’ve finally reached their end on the umpteenth attempt. And the trophies did fit well with the style of game, which was historically without such achievements. So, I for one can’t wait to see this overdo sequel hit the shelves. Even if it will undoubtedly give me many reasons to return it there.
