The Sinking City Spirals in New ‘Rotten Reality’ Trailer
Bigben Interactive and Frogwares have released a brand new trailer for the upcoming mystery/horror Lovecraftian The Sinking City, and it’s a strange one indeed.
The theme of this trailer is reality, or at least the protagonist’s unhinged view of it. Hence the ‘Rotten Reality’ trailer title. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the horrors that Charles W. Reed will face as he explores the town of Oakmont. It’s a little bit on the scary side so if you’re prone to crying like a baby (no shame, I’m there with you) then perhaps make sure you’re in a well-lit room with Toy Story ready to roll on the telly.
The Sinking City will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC this June 27th. It was originally set to release a little earlier this year but Bigben Interactive and Frogwares decided to push the release date back to the end of June in order to polish the game to a high sheen. We’ll see if the extra elbow grease was worth the wait this time next month.
