E3 2019 is just a few short weeks away and it’s that time of the year where my inbox becomes a battleground as press-relations, indie developers, and publishers fight for my precious time to go and see their games. It’s my first year that I’m actually going, but I’ve lived the inbox-crushing battle many times.
One publisher that’s going to be in attendance with new games to show is THQ Nordic, though I’m learning about this from Twitter. Oi, THQ, where’s my bloody invitation?!
The publisher is sending out info to game journalists along with a tease of what’s to come. Emails that are being dispatched note that the publisher will be revealing two new games, one of which is “the long-waited return of a galactically beloved game/franchise,” while the other is “a new vision of a beloved game/franchise.” Given that THQ Nordic has a massive portfolio to choose from, it’s not easy guessing what games are being alluded to, though one popular theory is that Timesplitters will be making a comeback. We’ll just have to wait until E3 2019 to see. Well, I’ll be waiting to read about during the news cycle as I’m not invited to THQ’s party. But whatever. I’m not even mad. Promise.

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella. (Bronze trophies, that is – he only has one Platinum.)
