Tropico 6 Brings Politics and War to PS4 on September 27th

Kalypso Media and Limbic Entertainment have announced today that Tropico 6 will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One this September 27th, 2019, months after being delayed due to the developers not being very happy with their own work. Fair enough, I say. At least we’re getting the best possible version.

I got to sit down with Limbic Entertainment last month in Los Angeles at E3 2019 where I got some hands-on time with Tropico 6. I’ve yet to write-up my detailed preview, but trust me when I say that if you’re a long-time Tropico fan, you’ll be happy with Tropico 6.

If you, like me, are a multi-console gamer and you have an Xbox One sitting under your telly, you can actually play Tropico 6 right now. The game has been released as part of the Game Preview program that is available on Xbox One. You’ll have to bear in mind that the game isn’t quite 100% finished, but if you just can’t wait to rule with an iron fist, it’s a nice option to have. Plus, once the full game does release you’ll get an update to the retail version. PS4 players, you’re just gonna have to wait. Go back to the garden and order the ants around if you’re desperate to be a dick. It’s what I’m doing tonight…
