Turtle Rock Studios seemed confident in its product with the multiplayer team-based shooter, Evolve, but ever since its release the game has slowly but surely died. The online player-base is tiny and the post-release DLC was confusing, so perhaps it’s for the best that the developer takes a step back and works on something else.
The studio is currently hiring tech-nerds to get a new unannounced IP up and running, according to job listings on its website. The listings don’t really give much away other than the game will have combat and cinematics. So, basically it could be anything. What could it be? We haven’t a clue, but we’re hoping Turtle Rock Studios goes back to doing what it does best, and that’s not nickel and diming its players with atrocious DLC.
