Forget the leaked videos and screenshots. In less than two hours, we’ll see real gameplay (I hope) during Ubisoft Forward. As one of the biggest publishers, this is Ubisoft’s answer to the cancellation of E3 and how they will deliver hype to the millions of people stuck at home right now. They have had a separate event in the past, so maybe it’s just business as usual.
What can we expect to see from the show? I’m hoping for a lot of gameplay and fewer CGI trailers, but Ubisoft did mention three games we’ll “see more from.” Specifically, they are Assassain’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Hyper Scape. Leaks also point to info on Far Cry 6. For me, I’m looking for a release date for Gods & Monsters. I’d also like for them to revive Splinter Cell, but that may be asking too much.
The show starts are 12:00 PM PDT, and you can watch the show by clicking here or on YouTube. For some extra content, there is a pre-show that starts an hour earlier. During the pre-show, the company will be playing Trackmania, giving updates on some released titles, and giving away Watch Dogs 2 on PC. You’ll need to login to your Uplay account before the end of the show to get it, or you can play it on PS Now…now. For showtimes around the world, check out the image at the top.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
