It’s been a while in the making but Ubisoft has finally confirmed they’ll be sharing details of the New Game Plus mode in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey next week. Because nothing says good news better than a warning that it’s inbound…
The news dropped in a Tweet as the studio responded to questions from fans. And from the little they shared, we can expect their intentions to be detailed in the next monthly update video. There will also be an online article, too, documenting the plans.
Not that New Game Plus needs much explaining; it’s usually little more than the ability to continue your adventure with your previously attained levels, skills and gear intact. But we might just find out when the update will drop, potentially as part of the next patch. At least, here’s hoping.
The feature has become one of the most expected additions to modern games – players have proven they’re more than happy to sink their teeth into an additional playthrough if they can come leveled up and ready for a greater challenge. But it still remains elusive at launch; not that it’s needed straight away.
Will you be leaving a second set of footprints in Ancient Greece? Or has your Odyssey already come to an end?
Hey Jacob, we’ll be able to share more information on NG+ in February’s Monthly Update video and article that’s slated to be released next week.
