Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is expected to be a popular download in this month’s PlayStation Plus. But eager gamers were met with a slight hitch when they attempted to redeem the game. That’s because an error meant they couldn’t even download the game – something to do with the system’s backend, probably. Although, that problem has now been fixed.
However, it should also be pointed out that this issue only affected a minority of users. So, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about…
It all comes down to an issue with the in-game currency, apparently. Even though new players wouldn’t have dabbled with anything of the kind. That can only mean it was an overriding issue that was affecting the underlying code, rather than something being caused by the individual users themselves. However, that doesn’t really explain why the problem only hindered some intrepid explorers rather than them all. But I’ll leave that for the whizz kids to describe.
The problem no longer matters, however, if everything is now fixed. And from a quick scout online, it appears most (if not all) players who were prevented from downloading previously are now in receipt of the game. So, don’t let any of this get you down and go enjoy the adventure that Uncharted 4 offers. Because I’m sure it won’t be long until we hear about another delayed release and we’re all down on our chins again.
