Rumours and speculation have been flying around since E3 – and probably before then, that Sony would be bringing Crash Bandicoot back to PlayStation with a brand new Crash Bandicoot PS4 game.
As it stands, there’s nothing official at the moment, though Sony is constantly teasing the Coot’s return.
For those who aren’t aware, before Naughty Dog worked on the Uncharted franchise, the studio cut its teeth with Crash Bandicoot on the PlayStation One. The property has since shifted hands to Activision who hasn’t done a decent thing with the license in a decade.
Well, how about another tease, then? In Uncharted 4, Naughty Dog’s original Crash Bandicoot can be found in the game. Is it just an easter egg, or is it some kind of foreshadowing? We’ll let you decide.
