Valhalla Hills to Get Definitive Edition For Consoles

We know what you’re thinking. There’s not enough console strategy titles that feature vikings and the Norse gods. Luckily, Valhalla Hills Definitive Edition will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 in early 2017. You play as Leko, the youngest son of Odin, who has been exiled to Midgard (Earth) for failing to meet your family’s expectations. Leko wants to build villages rather than pillage them. From here you and a band of outcast Viking warriors travel though the world and try to make their way back to Valhalla.

Doing so requires expert building and management skills by way of giving general commands to your warriors as a whole. No controlling one specific unit at a time. It’s up to you to gather crucial resources all while defending your camp and villages. What’s more is the full day and night cycles and randomly generated maps to keep you on your toes.

The Definitive Edition will specifically have all the official DLC packs (“Sand of the Damned” and “Fire Mountains”) included as well as a new exclusive map type called The Dwarf Cave. The announcement trailer is above for your viewing pleasure and let us know if you plan on emptying your beer horns.
