Games based on real-life conflict are always heavy, there’s no getting around it, and Vasilis, an upcoming port coming to PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One is another such game, though this time based on the political conflict that marred Ukraine in 2014.
In this hand-drawn adventure, you take the role of Vasilis, a woman who has lost her husband in the rebellious city centre as the city has been thrown into chaos by riots and ongoing civil conflicts.
Vasilis is an interesting-looking game, to say the least. The hand-drawn visuals are striking, and the politically-charged setting is one seldom seen in games. Oh, and it’s coming to PS Vita, so that’s reason enough to be interested. Who’d have thought that all these years later, the PS Vita would still be getting new releases?
Vasilis will release on PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on February 26th, 2020.
