SEGA has released a brand new Sonic Team Racing video today, but the focus isn’t on the high-speed kart racing. Instead we’re treated to a look at how the game’s dynamic soundtrack is put together by Sonic Team Sound Director and his colleagues.
The video, which is up above, was filmed live in Tokyo with the musicians playing their instruments for real. Not like, say, popular boy bands from the early 2000s…
Sonic Team Racing was originally set to release in late 2018, but an announcement from SEGA last year pushed the game’s release date to this year. The game will now release on May 21st and will be available both digitally and physically at retail.
