Nacon and Eko Software have announced today that Warhammer: Chaosbane will be a next-gen launch game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and that there will be a bevvy of enhancements for the new machines, as well as some new content for all players.

Warhammer: Chaosbane will be available on PS5 on November 12th and November 19th, according to wherever you live in the world. On Xbox Series X|S, the game will be available on November 10th. The next-gen version is confirmed to run at that sweet 4K/60fps that players will be expecting from their fancy new consoles.

Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition – the next-gen version – will come with the original game as well as all 12 DLC packs and updates. It’s essentially the complete edition of the game.

There will also be a free update for all versions of the game that expands the hubs of Act 1 and Act 2, with enhancements including more new enemies to fight, as well as a new area – the cemetery – which adds a new environment and a larger bestiary as well as new enemies like the Daemon Princes, Skullcrushers, a Chaos Warrior, and new cultists, all ready and waiting for you to hack and slash them into little tiny pieces.

The Slayer Edition also comes with a new character called Witch Hunter, which is included with the next-gen version of Warhammer: Chaosbane. For PS4 and Xbox One players, this new character will be available as DLC.

We’ve got a trailer for the new Witch Hunter down below, and up above you’ll find some next-gen gameplay. Admittedly it is from the Xbox Series X version of the game, but it’s going to look very similar, if not identical, to the PS5 version. Just close your eyes when you see the Xbox logo if you’re that petty…
