Everyone is looking for something to test the power of a fancy next-gen console. While we wait for more of those games to arrive, other developers are taking advantage of that extra horsepower to bring existing games to a higher level, and the Warhammer: Chaosbane – Slayer Edition is one of them. The hack-and-slash action in the Slayer Edition now runs at a buttery smooth 60FPS and 4K.
Beyond the improved visuals, it’s coming jam-packed with all the extra content. This one has all twelve of the previous DLC packs, and that includes the sixth character, the Witch Hunter, along with Keela and the Tower of Chaos. If you normally hold out until a game releases the complete package, this is it, and you can play it in co-op with up to four players.
Set in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world, Warhammer: Chaosbane plunges your character into a world torn apart by war. You can choose one of six different characters and fight the forces of Chaos in the Old World. You can collect sweet loot, use powerful attacks and abilities, and tear through the foolish forces and foes that oppose you. And, you can save people too if just being powerfully awesome or awesomely powerful isn’t enough for you.
Check out the trailer for a look at the game in action.

Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
