Love Warhammer? Hate rats? Then THQ Nordic has got the game for you with Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide. Pre-Orders are now open for the game, and a new trailer has been released for the upcoming console version of the game, which you can check out above. Hack and Slash your way through the throng to get to the details below.
Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide was originally a PC title, but on October 4th console gamers will get their chance to slay the skaven hordes. The game takes the form of a first person action RPG, with a class and loot system, and is primarily focused on co-op play, allowing up to four players to team up and beat the fur off the rat-men baddies.
The game features; a multitude of weapons for the five hero classes – including swords, hammers, bows, axes, guns and magic, an immersive story set in the Warhammer: The End Times universe, all the DLC so far released for the PC version, and with the tagline ‘stand together or die alone’ developer Fatshark purports to offer ‘challenging co-op at it’s finest’ (we’ll be the judge of that, thank you very much).

Dom is a gaming orphan; after his surrogate father SEGA was killed in the console wars, he was adopted by Sony and raised by various PlayStation consoles. He swears he’s not biased in any way though, so that’s good enough for us.
