Ubisoft has announced today that Watch Dogs Legion will release on October 29th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia, with the Xbox Series X version release on November 10th – the date the Xbox Series X/S releases.
The good news is that if you buy the game on PS4 or Xbox One, you’ll be able to upgrade to the PS5/Xbox Series X/S version for no extra cost. This is a great move as it means you can start playing on release day, safe in the knowledge that within a couple of weeks you’ll be getting your new console and you’ll not have to pay again for the same game. It’s a big change from the transition from PS3 to PS4, isn’t it? Did anybody else buy Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag twice? I did…
So, October 29th, 2020 – that’s when What Dogs Legion comes out on current-gen. November 10th, 2020 – that’s when the next-gen version starts its life. Now, if only Sony would hurry up and tell us about the bloody PS5 and its release date…
Until then, check out our E3 2019 Watch Dogs Legion preview. It’s some good reading, honest!
