Witcher 3 Music & Sounds Developer Diary

Witcher 3 is beautiful. Witcher 3 is great. Witcher 3 certainly didn’t make anyone dress up and dance nonsensically in a circle. No that never happened. However, if someone were to have done that while playing The Witcher 3, they have these people to thank. Below is a developer diary on how the sounds and music were created for the title. It involved hiring actual folk musicians and traveling to Renaissance festivals to acquire authentic¬†sounds. Let’s not forget about the talented vocalists as well. We absolutely loved it when they were heard as soon as a Gwent game started up. Enjoy the magnificent process that CD Projekt Red went through to capture audio under this very sentence.
