Woven Tells an Epic Tale on PS4, Releasing November 15th

Alterego Games and StickyLock have announced that they’ll be releasing Woven on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC this November 15th, almost three years after the game’s initial Kickstarter pitch.

In Woven you follow the story of Glitch, a metal robotic Firefly, and his unlikely companion, Stuffy, a knitted elephant. If you think a knitted elephant is weird, just wait until you see the actual game’s world; it’s all knitted. What’s more, is that the game is narrated by some grumpy old fella who only speaks in rhymes. He also kind of sounds like the narrator from the first Harry Potter game on PS1, but that’s beside the point.

Woven is an adventure game where you and your new pal need to have a wander around, solve some puzzles, collect blueprints to change Stuffy into whatever he needs to be in whatever given situation, and sort out Glitch’s dodgy memory. It all sounds a little odd and whimsical, but for £19.99/$19.99/€19.99, it might be worth a punt. It looks interesting enough and it’s got that old-school vibe to it.

“To know that Woven will soon be springing to life on everyone’s screen is very exciting. The team and I have worked for years to create something unique, yet appealing, that invites players to explore and question the world we’ve created. It is an incredible milestone on our studio’s journey to create more colourful and engaging games,” said Vincent da Silva Creative Director
