It looks like the next Battlefield game, Battlefield V, will indeed be taking us back to the front lines of World War 2, as confirmed by the teaser trailer that EA released.
The teaser trailer is a meager 10-seconds long, and you can watch it in its entirety up above. While it’s a little disappointing to only get a very brief glimpse at Battlefield V, there will be more to follow later on this week when the game gets its full release on May 23rd.
It’s interesting that DICE is staying with the old-time setting rather than shifting forwards again, but I’ll take World War 2 over jetpacks and hoverboots any day of the week.
